NERVE (2016)

This film is a really good film. I love the concept behind it – which came from the book written by Jeanne Ryan.

What’s not to love about Dave Franco and Machine Gun Kelly in a film?

Anyway I read the book first, old habit of mine. And I loved it. Then I watched the film and I was so excited about it. As stated in my book review it’s truth or dare without the truth. The only issue with the film is some of the characters are a little different and none of the dares are the same!

I think Emma Roberts’ acting has come a long way since her Aquamarine days to be fair.

But back to the film. I thought the dares were good, I liked the chemistry between the characters. Kind of wish Nerve was a real thing – if you’re hella rich and you’re reading this… MAKE NERVE A THING WILL YOU?!

I kind of hope there’s some kind of sequel with all different characters and a load of different dares. Would be good to maybe see some of the dares from the book come to life.

The ending is a little bit messed up but I’ll let you guys see that for yourself.

I’m intrigued as to what everyone else thought about either the film or the book – or both! So drop me a comment below.

Welcome to Nerve, a game like truth or dare, minus the truth. Watchers pay to watch. Players play to win. Cash or glory, are you a watcher or a player? Are you a watcher or a player?
